Some wedding days just have a certain magic about them and Hannah & Taylor’s wedding at Bellingham Castle was definitely one of those days.

From the moment I arrived as their Bellingham Castle wedding photographer, there was such a relaxed and happy atmosphere. The sun was shining, everyone was in great spirits and there was a real sense of excitement about the day ahead.

Getting Ready for Hannah & Taylor’s Wedding Day

The excitement started early as both Hannah and Taylor got ready surrounded by their closest family and friends.

While I spent the morning with Hannah and the girls, my fantastic second photographer Karen was with Taylor and the boys, capturing all those moments that help tell the complete story of the day.

I was also joined by Jessica for content creation, as Hannah and Taylor had chosen to add this onto their photography package. Having content captured alongside the photography means they were able to relive so many behind the scenes moments almost instantly, which always adds something really special to the story of the day.

From final touches and nervous excitement to plenty of laughter along the way, there was such a lovely atmosphere throughout the morning. As the ceremony drew closer, the anticipation began to build and everyone was ready to celebrate Hannah and Taylor finally becoming husband and wife.

With the sunshine already making an appearance, it felt like the perfect start to what would become a truly beautiful day.

A Beautiful Wedding Ceremony in Benburb

The celebrations began with a heartfelt ceremony in Hannah’s family church in Benburb. There is always something extra special about getting married in a place that holds so many family memories and connections.

One of the things I love most as a wedding photographer is how perfectly church ceremonies like this lead into relaxed family portraits straight afterwards. We captured all of Hannah and Taylor’s family photos at the church, which worked beautifully.

It keeps everything natural and efficient, while everyone is still together and in that emotional high of the ceremony before heading to the reception.

Surrounded by their loved ones, Hannah and Taylor exchanged their vows in a beautiful ceremony filled with emotion, smiles and more than a few happy tears.

After the ceremony, everyone made their way to the stunning Bellingham Castle. As a wedding photographer at Bellingham Castle, it is always such a joy arriving at this venue. It never disappoints.

The elegant interiors, beautiful grounds and incredible atmosphere make it one of the most iconic wedding venues in Ireland.

The sunshine allowed guests to enjoy drinks outdoors while catching up with family and friends. Everywhere I turned there was another smile, another laugh or another moment worth remembering.

Rather than worrying about timelines or details, they focused on spending time with the people they love most and soaking up every moment. That is when the best wedding photography happens.

As their Bellingham Castle wedding photographer, I was able to quietly document so many natural, unscripted moments throughout the day. The couple also slipped away for portraits around the stunning grounds, which took no longer than 20 minutes, before returning to enjoy the rest of their celebration. These are the images that bring everything back, not just how the day looked, but how it felt.
