I’m Melissa Wright, a wedding photographer based in Northern Ireland. This page is here to give you an idea of my relaxed, natural and storytelling style of photography.
My approach is simple. I focus on real moments as they naturally unfold. The laughter, the emotion, the quiet in between moments and the big celebrations that make your wedding day unique. With gentle guidance during portraits to help you get those stunning images for your wall in a relaxed and quick manner.

Every wedding is different, and that’s what I love most about my job. From countryside celebrations to city weddings and everything in between, this portfolio shows a mix of real couples, real emotions and real wedding days.
When you are looking through my work, I want you to feel what the day was like, not just see how it looked.
My photography style
My style is relaxed, natural and unobtrusive. I gently guide when needed, especially for group photos and couple portraits, but I never take you away from your day for long periods.
Most of the time I’m simply observing and capturing moments as they happen naturally.
This is what allows the images to feel honest, emotional and full of life.
