Booking Your Videographer

If you’re thinking about having a videographer capture your wedding day, I highly recommend booking them as soon as possible! Videographers tend to book up just as quickly as photographers, so if you have someone in mind, don’t wait too long to secure your date.

Just like photography, videography styles can vary massively, from cinematic and storytelling to documentary-style coverage. Since your photos and video will tell the story of your day together, it’s important to choose a videographer whose approach complements mine—someone who captures natural, candid moments in a relaxed and unobtrusive way. This will help your day flow smoothly, getting you back in faster to celebrate with your friends and family which is my ultimate goal for you.

To help you find the perfect match, I’ve put together a list of trusted videographers whose style and approach work beautifully alongside mine. You can check them out here:

Content Creators vs. Videographers

What’s the Difference?

While videographers create a beautifully edited film of your wedding day, content creators focus on capturing short-form, behind-the-scenes-style footage, perfect for social media. They work quickly to deliver snippets, Reels, and TikToks (often on the same day but most within 48 hours) so you have fun, unpolished moments to share instantly.

A content creator won’t replace a videographer, but they’re a great option if you love the idea of candid, in-the-moment clips alongside your professional photos and video (or not bothered about long form video). If this sounds like something you’d love, here three that I believe are the best in the business or you can add content creation into your package with me.

Thinking About a Second Photographer?

All the Moments Captured.

If you haven’t already added a second photographer, it’s something worth considering! A second shooter captures extra angles, reactions, and moments you might otherwise miss—especially during morning prep and the drinks reception.

Still unsure if you need one? I’ve written a blog post all about the benefits of having a second photographer on your wedding day…..
